In a special interview with "Al Arabiya Business" on the program "Business Lunch," Dr. Faisal Al-Atawi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co., revealed details of a comprehensive infrastructure replacement and development project for King Fahd Hospital in the Al-Baha region. Dr. Al-Atawi stated that the project is valued at SAR 100 million and is expected to be completed within 24 months.
During the interview, Dr. Al-Atawi emphasized that this project represents a qualitative leap for the company’s contracting segment and is considered one of its most important strategic projects, strengthening the position of Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co. in the healthcare construction sector and the development of medical facilities in the Kingdom.
He also highlighted the company’s commitment to undertaking projects that contribute to improving profit margins, noting that the contracting segment has witnessed a notable increase in awarded projects over the past twelve months, which supports the enhancement of the company’s financial performance.
Dr. Al-Atawi concluded by affirming that the financial position of Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co. is stable and robust, enabling it to finance major projects from its own resources without necessarily requiring credit facilities.
