Reference to the announcement of Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co. dated 01-27-1445 AH corresponding to 08-14-2023 AD regarding the issuance of a preliminary judicial ruling in favor of Ruaa Al-Himaya Company (a subsidiary) issued in the lawsuit filed by Ruaa Al-Himaya Company against the National Unified Purchasing Company (NUPCO).
The company would like to announce to the shareholders that a confirmation of the ruling has been issued by the Fourth Appellate Circuit of the Commercial Court in Riyadh dated 26-03-1445H corresponding to 11-10-2023AD. The court has affirmed the initial judgment that ordered National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies to pay Ruaa Al-Himaya Company (a subsidiary) the following:
1. Obligation of the defendant to pay SAR (60,568,458.65) in favor of Ruaa Al Himayah Co. (a Subsidiary Company).
2. Obligation of the defendant to pay SAR (135.000) in favor of Ruaa Al Himayah Co. (a Subsidiary Company) against expert fees.
3. Obligation of the defendant to pay SAR (500,000) against litigation fees and attorney's fees.
And awaiting the final judgment.
